BreezingForms Installation Step 2 loops if you have permission issues. As part of instalation configuration file facileforms.config.php needs to be created, and if systems is unable to create it in joomlaroot/components/com_facileforms/ directory - installation loops.
Solution is to upload an empty file with ftp and allow web server to change it.

New production server in NJ, US

Comcord Media is happy to announce new production server in NJ, unicorn. This is a brand new Ubuntu Linux web server that will join Dallas`s s39 in providing best service to our customers. Unicorn will be used to provide premium level services to US and International audience. This linux server will support PHP5 and MySQL5 as well as Django framework. Migration process will begin for selected customers after 22/05/09.

Yandex offers new business solution

Yandex opens its web statistics analysis tool Metrica for general use by every website owner or webmaster. Yandex.Metrica allows customers to measure traffic, analyze user behavior and evaluate the efficiency of advertising campaigns. Solution is similar to Google analytics.
After implementing Metrica counter on their websites, advertisers can track user activity there. For example, Yandex.Direct advertisers can see if people reach an order form or any other significant page on the website. The Metrica tool creates eight groups of various reports, and for maximum acuracy, the data is updated every five minutes of time. Metrica counter is hidden from website visitors and its records are only accessible to the site`s webmaster.
Another interesting feature is alerting, Yandex Metrica is constantly monitors accessibility of the web site and is able to alert him if the site is unreachable for any reason. Alerts are sent using standard email or SMS.

Pilot of new service, Russian e-shop presence.

We are considering to provide a new service to our customers, sales and clearance in Russia and CIS. Some of our customers want to sell in Russia but they are unable or unwilling to manage a shop there and accept local payment methods such as Webmoney and Yandex money. We considering an option to provide full scale solution to those customers and started a pilot with Booby smart solutions, makers of patent pending water tanks. We had created a small localized web shop and integrated one of our Webmoney purses to accept payments. customer provided products details and we made a translation. will see there it will take us.

SIR (simple image rotator fix for Joomla url optimization

We have been using SIR image rotation component from http://www.joomlaworks.gr for a while now. It`s easy, light and flexible. One of the problems was that with search engine url optimization enabled all rotating images got displayed at the same time.
In order to fix that there is some patching to be done.
In file:
/modules/mod_jw_sir/mod_jw_sir.php
line 66 needs to be changed from:
+ '@import "modules/mod_jw_sir/mod_jw_sir/mod_jw_sir.css";'
to
+ '@import "/modules/mod_jw_sir/mod_jw_sir/mod_jw_sir.css";'

Comcord Media and Yandex

Comcord media will be first advertisement agency to provide Yandex search engine contextual advertisement services in Israel. This move will allow Israeli customers full access to Yandex Direct service with Israeli contact point.
